Wet night in Glasgow…
The weather was warm but wet, yet the brave souls of G3 Glasgow Games Group still turned up in force to enjoy an evening of gaming, hobbies and, most importantly, good friendships.
Warhammer 40k 11th Edition
The 41st Millennium was once again a battlefield, as armies clashed in Warhammer 40,000 in the name of the Emperor. Meanwhile, brave explorers ventured into the mysterious jungles of Lost Ruins of Arnak, while others battled across the unforgiving deserts of Sand.
Over in the Hobby Corner, three of our members took a more relaxed approach to the evening, painting miniatures, chatting and enjoying some well-earned hobby time.
There was plenty of historic warfare on the tables too, with Team Yankee bringing modern military conflict to life, while the forces of good and evil met on the battlefields of The Lord of the Rings in a clash of fantasy armies.
The adventurous explorers of Wyrmspan were busy opening caves, collecting eggs and attempting to entice dragons to join their growing collections. Meanwhile, our intrepid heroes in Pathfinder had a busy night of adventuring, facing challenges and getting themselves into whatever trouble the evening had in store.
To round off the night, Star Wars: Outer Rim saw bounty hunters pursuing lucrative targets, alliances being forged and fortunes being made across the galaxy.
Another brilliant evening at G3, proving that even a wet Glasgow night won’t keep good gamers away!
