Here we go....I’ve been boardgaming for about 10 years and club member for over 3.
I am also an archer, archery coach and a coach developer. I shoot with Irvine Toxiphilites on and off for over 30yrs now.
My partner and I have 2 dogs and a cat which takes up a lot of our time and energy.....
I started WH40k (don’t play any more just paint) when I was 18 and moved over to Necromunda so I collect Escher and Space Wolves(need to get more painted). My evenings and weekends to gaming and Archery etc.... I also like to spend quality family time lol..
Little known fact about me is that I like a good musical 😃

I started miniature gaming many years ago with MB's collaboration with GW and the result that was Space Crusade. After that it was an eventual journey to GW in Queen Street, and that's where it all started going down hill (including my long time friendship with Andy Paul).
I started with an Ultramarines army for 40k, and some Warhammer back in those days, but have since progressed to playing a lot of other game systems from Vor, Heavy Gear, Battletech, Full Thrust, Infinity, Conquest: LaoK, and a whole host of others.
When I'm not gaming, I'm normally either found practicing HEMA (mostly longsword, but also messer and rapier amongst others), out with the dog, or trying a bit of gardening as I've recently moved from a flat to a house.

I started miniatures gaming 35 years ago in Primary 6 with GW's Advanced Heroquest, and I've not looked back since then. I started my Space Wolves army for 1st edition 40k not long after, and It's still on the go today.
Over the years I've had a go at just about everything; Warhammer, Battletech, Void, Infinity, Flames of War, but nowadays I'm interested in a lot of independent skirmish games, so I can get some of the more unusual miniatures in my collection into play once again.
I'm a founding member of G3, and I'm hoping we can continue the club for the next quarter century.
What little disposable income remains after wargaming goes on Lego!

I got into gaming in the 1980’s via the fighting fantasy books and warhammer 2nd edition.
Then I started 40k, played loads of older Games Workshop boardgames like Talisman, Battlecars and Judge Dredd.
My favourite games these days are dudes on a map and skirmish boardgames.

I have been painting tabletop minis for 22 years and started my scaled miniature passion with remote controlled model boats and cars as a kid as my parents were founder members of Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club.
I have been known to stream on Twitch with my painting and I also commission paint in my spare time.
I am addicted to reading books, building Lego, playing boardgames and riding motorbikes.
I live with my partner, our two kitties and one puppy!

Age: 46 (young enough to be a gamer, old enough for his body to be "Are you insane???" Postition: board member, flunkie, igor adjacent, clubs D&D guy Bio: So you remember the nerdy kids in school in the 80s? Yep, that's me. To be fair, I never had a chance at boring, saw Star Wars a new hope at 6 months old, and got my first lightsabre from David Prowse (IFYKYK). Personally, I have been gaming in one for or another for 35 years, give or take from simple snakes and ladders to Arc Nova. Also play several games of D&D a month as both player and Dm and will be happy to help with any questions. Joined the club in 2024 and its been a great experience and made several new friends along the way and. I have recently adopted a pair of kittens who seem to have developed a feud with one of my Orc minis, its very exciting as I am waiting to see who prevails.
