KILL TEAM
Warhammer 40,000… but smaller, sneakier, and much more personal.
Fancy getting into Warhammer 40,000 but don't quite fancy buying a whole army? Kill Team might be exactly what you're looking for. Instead of commanding dozens of warriors, you take control of a small elite squad — your Kill Team — and send them into dangerous missions where every model matters. It's faster, more focused, and packed with those wonderfully ridiculous moments that make tabletop gaming so much fun.
In Kill Team, you're not just moving a unit around the battlefield — you're making decisions for individual operatives. One fighter might sneak around the side of a building, another might provide covering fire, while your leader tries to work out why everyone else has wandered off. Objectives, positioning, cover and clever tactics all matter, and a single brave operative can sometimes achieve something spectacular. Of course, they can also spectacularly fail, which is usually much funnier.
One of the best things about Kill Team is that it's a great way to try Warhammer without committing to a huge army. You can build and paint a relatively small number of models, learn the game in manageable chunks, and have a complete force ready for the battlefield without needing an entire shelf of miniatures. It's also a brilliant stepping stone into the wider Warhammer 40,000 hobby if you eventually decide you want to command a larger army.
Most importantly, Kill Team is about having a good time and telling a story. Your operative might survive impossible odds, pull off an amazing shot, or charge into combat with absolutely no sensible reason for doing so. Sometimes they'll become the hero of the game. Sometimes they'll be remembered forever as “that guy who died immediately.” Either way, there's always another mission, another dice roll, and another excuse to shout “KILL TEAM, MOVE OUT!”
