Warhammer 40,000 Battle Report
The fires of war burned brightly across the club as four battles from the grim darkness of the far future played out, each with its own memorable moments and heroic stands.
Blood Ravens vs. Leagues of Votann
An ancient world rich in forgotten relics became the focus of a bitter conflict between the Blood Ravens and the Leagues of Votann. The Space Marines advanced with characteristic determination, seeking to reclaim knowledge from humanity's past, while the Kin dug in around key positions, refusing to surrender what they considered rightfully theirs.
Heavy weapons echoed across the battlefield as the Blood Ravens pressed their attack through disciplined volleys and armoured assaults. The Votann answered with devastating firepower of their own, turning the centre of the battlefield into a graveyard of wrecked vehicles and fallen warriors. Every objective became fiercely contested as neither force was willing to yield an inch of ground.
Orks vs. Emperor's Children
Noisy, brutal and spectacularly violent, the clash between the Orks and the Emperor's Children delivered exactly what everyone expected.
The Orks surged forwards in an unstoppable green tide, roaring their battle cries as they crashed into the elegant but deadly formations of the Emperor's Children. Sonic weaponry and precise volleys tore through charging mobs, but every fallen Ork seemed to be replaced by another eager to join the fight.
The battlefield quickly dissolved into a sprawling melee where warbikes, Nobz, Possessed and elite Chaos warriors fought over shattered ruins. Every charge was met with a counter-charge, every victory followed by another desperate struggle, leaving both armies locked in a relentless cycle of violence.
Subjugators vs. Chaos Space Marines
The forces of Imperial law met the corruption of Chaos in a tense urban engagement.
The Subjugators advanced with disciplined precision, forming shield walls and overlapping fields of fire as they sought to contain the renegade warband. Across the ruins, the Chaos Space Marines answered with terrifying assaults, their corrupted champions leading brutal attacks against the Imperial lines.
Street by street and building by building, the battle became a test of resolve. Every barricade was contested, every objective fought over with determination as the forces of order and anarchy clashed beneath the shadow of a ruined hive city.
Genestealer Cults vs. Pactbound Zealots
Beneath the surface of an industrial world, an insidious uprising erupted as the Genestealer Cults emerged from hidden tunnels to strike at the Pactbound Zealots.
Cult ambushes appeared without warning, demolition charges shattered defensive positions, and hybrid warriors slipped between the ruins before melting back into the shadows. The Chaos followers answered with dark rituals and daemonic fury, driving forward through the carnage with terrifying determination.
The battle shifted constantly as both forces sought to outmanoeuvre one another, each seizing opportunities before being forced back by fierce resistance. By the end of the engagement, the battlefield had become a maze of burning wreckage, abandoned objectives and hard-fought positions.
From ancient relic hunts to brutal urban warfare, from thunderous Waaaghs! to hidden cult uprisings, the battlefields of the 41st Millennium offered no respite. Every table told its own story, every commander faced impossible choices, and every roll of the dice had the potential to change the course of the war.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.
